This past weekend (May 2-3) featured a doubleheader, starting at Plaza Park Raceway on Friday and wrapping up at Lemoore Jet Bowl on Saturday, with five classes of micro sprint action each night.
Points Race #3 kicked things off at Plaza Park on Friday. Quick time in qualifying went to Landon Henry (A-Class), Huxcen Roush (Junior Sprints), Jeffery Pahule (Outlaw Non-Wing), Aubri Huckleberry (Restricted), and Colton Key (Outlaw Winged).
Early on, a dry-slick track left little room for bottom-groove racing, and a cloud of dust hung in the air. Thankfully, the track crew worked quickly after qualifying to lay down a much-improved surface for the rest of the night. Heat race wins in A-Class went to Dash Duinkerken, Maverick Myrick, and Cash Lovenburg. Lee Uzzell took the Junior Sprint heat, while Koen Crawford and Matrix Salmon claimed Outlaw Non-Wing heats. In Restricted, Cole Bezio and Kourtney Baker each notched heat wins, while Drake Carter and KJ Snow topped the Outlaw Winged heats.
Main events began with 24 cars taking the green in the A-Class feature. Pole-sitter Cash Lovenburg showed speed early but had no answer for the dominant #44 of Dalton Parreira (pictured above), who sliced through lapped traffic and cruised to victory.
Next up, Junior Sprints hit the track. Easton Wright led the field to green but slipped to sixth by the finish. Micah Porter (pictured below) of Scottsdale took the win, with Huxcen Roush earning hard charger honors after climbing four positions to finish third.
Outlaw Non-Wing saw carnage across the field. Of the 17 starters, only six finished as the infield filled with wrecked cars and frustrated drivers. Jeffery Pahule (pictured above) emerged unscathed, taking the win after starting on the outside pole. Austin Stone led early from pole but couldn’t hold off Pahule or Jett Yantis.
In Restricted, Tyce Domingos (pictured below) put together a flawless run, leading all 25 laps and capturing his first career victory. Braxon Vasconcellos and Bryson Sozinho chased him to the finish.
The premier Winged Outlaw class wrapped up the night with 30 laps of high-speed clay-slinging. Jett Barnes led the field to green, but it was Colton Key (pictured above), Jett Yantis, and Jake Smith who secured the top three spots, followed by Raio Salmon and Barnes.
Saturday brought racing to Lemoore Jet Bowl under overcast skies and light rain. Despite the forecast, the show went on, and racing began under brief sunshine and a cool breeze.
Dalton Parreira picked up where he left off, setting quick time in A-Class qualifying with Lovenburg close behind. Junior Sprints opted for heat races instead of qualifying, where Samantha Dozier and Lee Uzzell picked up wins. Mattix Salmon topped Outlaw Non-Wing qualifying, followed by Koen Crawford. Huckleberry continued her streak, earning another Restricted pole, while Jett Barnes paced the Winged Outlaws with Jake Smith second.
A-Class heat races went to Parreira, Kinser Bell, and Eric Botelho. Junior Sprints had already completed theirs, so next up were the Outlaw Non-Wing heats, won by Braxton Foster and Blayden Graham. Braxon Vasconcellos and Austin Turner scored Restricted heat wins, while Mattix Salmon and Cody Key topped Winged Outlaw heats.

The main events began with A-Class. Jacob Hampton started on pole but had no answer for the red-hot Dalton Parreira, who backed up his Friday night win with another dominant performance. Botelho and Hampton filled out the podium.
In Junior Sprints, Micah Porter led the field to green, but it was Samantha Dozier (pictured above at Plaza Park) who stormed to the front and took the win after 20 laps. Uzzell and Porter rounded out the top three.
The Outlaw Non-Wing main featured Broedy Graham on pole with Jett Yantis (pictured above) to his outside. After 30 fast laps, Yantis crossed the line first, followed by Jett Barnes and Caden Stoll.
In Restricted, Tyce Domingos once again led the field to green, this time with Huckleberry on his outside. But it was Cole Bezio who powered through for the win, with Domingos and Vasconcellos rounding out the podium.
The night—and weekend—ended with the Winged Outlaw main. Jett Yantis started on pole and never looked back, dominating all 30 laps and capping off a clean sweep of both Outlaw classes at Lemoore.
With fierce battles, breakthrough performances, and a few drivers asserting clear dominance, the doubleheader weekend at Plaza Park and Lemoore Jet Bowl delivered two nights of intense micro sprint racing. Dalton Parreira's clean sweep in A-Class and Jett Yantis's Outlaw class dominance capped off a thrilling showcase of talent and tenacity. As the season charges forward, the momentum gained—and lessons learned—this weekend are sure to fuel even more drama and excitement in the races ahead.
