Deming Speedway drivers travelled down to Sunset Speedway over the Memorial Day weekend and swept both nights' micro sprint festivities in dominating fashion.
Tristin Thomas won the 600 Open features on both nights, his first wins of the 2025 season. In 600 Restricted it was McKenna Morgan taking home the Friday honors before 2024 Clay Cup champion Clayton Jalakas stepped into winners circle on Sunday. Morgan now has three wins on the season in Restricted.
It was a dominating weekend for Deming Speedway drivers, North West wheelers swept almost every micro sprint event on the program. Oregon drivers squeaked out just a single heat race win and Deming drivers filled every podium spot on both nights.
