NEW DIRT & NATIONAL EXPOSURE HAS OREGON FANS FROTHING AT THE PROSPECT OF A SPRINT CAR RESURGENCE IN THE BEAVER STATE

OREGON is likely not a state that immediately springs to mind for most fans when talking about top tier sprint car racing,  and while fender cars still dominate the schedules there is positive momentum for open wheel diehards in the Beaver State. The return of a national touring series was certainly big news in 2024 and High Limit did not disappoint. But there is something more nuanced about Oregon, something that is far more salt of the earth than big dollar bells and whistles. In 2024 the Oregon crowds were noticeably energized, buoyed by the national exposure and having legitimate local contenders to cheer for they embraced each touring event we were at with boisterous enthusiasm. The variety, and nature of the tracks and an influx of high level competition in Oregon make it an exciting prospect for any driver looking to flesh out their resume.
