A conglomerate of bad weather across the North American continent has forced the postponement or outright cancellation of many dirt track events this weekend.
World of Outlaws announced earlier this week that both their Late Model and Sprint Car schedules for April 4th and 5th would be postponed until later dates, with POWRi 410 Outlaw Sprints joining suit soon after in rescheduling their double-header weekend at Lake Ozark Speedway into a single night show on May 23rd.
USAC did not delay their announcement either, on Tuesday it was confirmed that Friday nights Amsoil National Sprint Car action at Paragon Speedway would be cancelled without a reschedule date, and the $10,000-to-win Saturday show at Red Hill Raceway would be postponed until June 13.
Severe weather has wreaked havoc across many parts of the country with no less than 40 events cancelled or postponed by late Wednesday on MyRacePass alone. For accurate weather updates and event information please always refer to official event communications.
