The 2025 VIC/SA Easter Sprint Car Trail has released some details of it's prize pool and payout package for the upcoming three night series. According to posts shared on various social media channels on Thursday, the series will pay $7000 to each nights winner with a further $12,000 series prize pool available over the three nights. A tow money package for cars competing at all three rounds was also mentioned though no specifics were provided in the short release.
The Easter Sprint Car Trail is a one of Australias longest running annual speedway traditions. The timing and basic schedule has changed very little throughout it's history, three nights at three different tracks that has for a long time served to bring life back into an Australian sprint car season that essentially sputters to a stop in February. Drivers will stop at Avalon Raceway on Good Friday April 18 before heading to Borderline Speedway on Saturday and then Premier Speedway on Sunday.
Tasmanian driver Tate Frost won the final two nights and secured the overall series win in 2024. South Australian Daniel Pestka won the opening night at Avalon Raceway.
