Event Overview

The Roto-Rooter Midweek Series Finale brought Kubota High Limit Racing back to Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, for the final midweek event of the 2025 season. With the mini-series championship and national points standings both in play, the race delivered a clean, competitive 30-lap main event on the 3/8-mile clay oval known as The Diamond of Dirt Tracks.

Brent Marks, of Myerstown, Pennsylvania, prevailed with a decisive pass for the lead on lap 18, earning his fifth High Limit victory of 2025 and eighth career series win. Aaron Reutzel, who led the first 17 laps from the pole, finished second, while Sye Lynch completed the podium. Rico Abreu, finishing sixth, secured the Roto-Rooter Midweek Series championship by one point over Reutzel and also maintained his lead in both driver and owner championship standings heading into the All-In Championship weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.

Marks Runs Down Reutzel to Win at The Diamond of Dirt Tracks

Brent Marks raced from fifth to first to capture the Roto-Rooter Midweek Series Finale at Lucas Oil Speedway, overtaking Aaron Reutzel on lap 18 and holding on to win by 0.359 seconds at the checkered flag.

Reutzel led the first 17 laps after starting from the pole following his FK Rod Ends Dash victory. The only stoppage came on lap six when Kerry Madsen flipped in turn two. Once racing resumed, Marks steadily closed in and used lapped traffic to execute a clean outside pass in turns one and two on the 18th circuit.

From there, Marks maintained a narrow but firm advantage as Reutzel closed back in during the closing laps, with Lynch, Peck, and Sweet completing the top five. The result also locked in Rico Abreu as the 2025 Roto-Rooter Midweek Series champion by one point.
