Eighteen 360 Sprint Cars signed in for round 2 of the Ocean Sprints at Ocean Speedway on Friday April 25th. Dominic Gorden (pictured above) was class of the field, opening the night with a quicktime of 11.208 seconds. A second place finish in his heat race was the only stumble in Gorden's bid for a sweep of the night. The Clovis, CA teenager won the trophy dash and then backed it up with a big win in the 30-lap feature. Guage Garcia held on to the runner up spot, his best result since an April 5th win at Marysville Speedway. Tanner Carrick was third. Carick Garcia and Bud Kaeding won the night's heat races.
