After a tumultuous start to the season that resulted in four straight DNF's, David Greene has finally gotten the monkey off his back and returned to victory lane in 600 Open at Deming Speedway. The Graham, WA pilot's points championship hopes are effectively over, giving Greene every incentive to focus purely on winning. Two straight 4th place runs before the week 7 rainout were positive signs for Greene, and the family team were able to finally put all the pieces together in week 8. Greene finished the Memorial Day weekend with 7th and 5th place finishes in 600 Open at Sunset Speedway Park on Saturday and Sunday.
