The High Limit Racing opener at the Dirt Track at Las Vegas has been postponed until Friday night (March 14) after inclement weather moved in over the track during Thursday's program. Chilly weather and strong winds greeted fans and drivers alike when the seaon opener got going, with conditions worsening and rain moving in as qualifying was completed. Officials made the call to halt proceedings until Friday night soon after.
In completed qualifying results, fastest overall was Corey Day in Group A. Kyle Larson was fastest in Group B.

The Friday program will start as soon as the NASCAR truck race is completed at the adjacent 1.5 mile paved oval. That truck race starts at 6.15pm and is expected to be over around 8.30pm, with High Limit heat races back on the dirt track to begin quickly afterwards.
