Fans witnessed a true showcase of the sport’s elite, with Rico Abreu delivering in back-to-back fashion — sweeping both nights and clinching the 2025 Kubota High Limit Racing Driver and Owner Championships for Rico Abreu/Curb-Agajanian Racing.
Both nights were streamed live on Floracing and featured full support from the High Limit partner network, celebrating the season’s 51st and final points-paying events.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2025 — RICO ABREU CLUTCHES UP IN FORT WORTH
Race Recap
Under the lights at Texas Motor Speedway, Rico Abreu delivered when it mattered most. Charging from third to first, the St. Helena, California native took control midway through the 25-lapper and never looked back — scoring his 12th High Limit Racing win of 2025 and taking over the championship lead entering Saturday’s $50,000 finale.
Daryn Pittman led the opening 12 circuits before Abreu made his move through lapped traffic. Giovanni Scelzicompleted the podium, securing a lock-in spot for the next night’s main event alongside Abreu and Pittman.
The performance put Abreu 25 points ahead in the Owner standings and 40 points clear of Brad Sweet in the Driver chase heading into the final night.

Race Recap
In storybook fashion, Rico Abreu completed a perfect weekend and clinched his first Kubota High Limit Racing National Championship, winning the season finale from the outside pole and leading all 30 laps.
The $50,000 victory capped a 13-win campaign with the series and 20 overall across 2025, while also securing Rico Abreu/Curb-Agajanian Racing the $250,000 championship payout and the first-ever High Limit Franchise System #1 slot for 2026.
Daryn Pittman again proved Abreu’s toughest challenger, staying within striking distance through traffic but ultimately settling for second. Brad Sweet claimed third, ahead of Justin Sanders and Giovanni Scelzi.
