Event Overview

The POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League rolled into Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa, for the inaugural Hawkeye Nationals, marking the penultimate weekend of the 2025 season. The two-night event, presented by Honest Abe Roofing and Start2Finish TV, featured full programs both nights — paying $5,000 to win on Friday and $7,000 to win on Saturday — and drew a stout field of sprint cars highlighted by several big name entries.

Night 1 produced an instant classic as Brady Bacon edged Aaron Reutzel by just one-tenth of a second in a thrilling photo finish to earn his first POWRi 410 victory. On Night 2, Reutzel rebounded, leading the final 15 laps to claim the Hawkeye Nationals championship and his second POWRi win of the season. Donnellson, IA — Thirty-three cars signed in for the opener, where Brady Bacon edged Aaron Reutzel by just 0.10 seconds in a last-lap drag race to score his first career POWRi 410 Outlaw Sprint League victory.

Sean Rayhall set Quick Time at 13.105 seconds. Heats were won by Hank DavisRiley GoodnoJoe B. Miller, and Bacon, while Xavier Doney advanced from the semi-feature. A caution with four laps to go reset the field, but Bacon held off Reutzel’s slider attempt at the line. Austin McCarl charged from 12th to third to round out the podium.

Aaron Reutzel Reigns as Hawkeye Nationals Champion

Donnellson, IA — Redemption came swiftly for Aaron Reutzel, who topped qualifying, led the final 15 laps, and captured the Hawkeye Nationals finale and his eighth career POWRi 410 victory.

Emerson Axsom led the opening ten laps before Reutzel powered by with a turn-two slider and never looked back. A late caution couldn’t slow the 87 Mobil 1 / RSR Maxim, which held steady through lapped traffic to earn a $7,000 win.
