Event Overview
The annual Chris & Brian Faria Memorial brought a full house to Stone Chevrolet Thunderbowl Raceway on Saturday, October 4, 2025, combining the NARC 410 King of the West Sprint Car Series and the Elk Grove Ford Sprint Car Challenge Tour (SCCT) for their only joint appearance of the season.
The event honored Chris and Brian Faria, two brothers whose names have become synonymous with Tulare’s racing history. First held in 2002, the memorial has grown into a Central Valley staple and this year doubled as the official Trophy Cup Tune-Up ahead of Trophy Cup 31 on October 16–18.
Perfect fall weather and packed pits set the stage for a powerful double-header of California winged sprint-car action.

Tanner Holmes is the NARC Man of the Hour at Tulare
Winner: Tanner Holmes (Tarlton Motorsports #21 – American Rock & Rent / Kistler / Maxim)
Oregon’s Tanner Holmes returned to the seat of the Tarlton Motorsports No. 21 and delivered a flawless drive to claim his second NARC win of 2025 and third career series victory. Starting from the pole after topping qualifying and winning the dash, Holmes led all 30 laps to earn the $5,000 feature at the 1/3-mile Thunderbowl.

Tim Kaeding Returns to Thunderbowl Raceway Victory Lane After 10 Years
Winner: Tim Kaeding (Williams Motorsports / Emadco Disposal #0)
San Jose’s Tim Kaeding produced a vintage drive, leading all 30 laps from the pole to earn his second career SCCT victory and his first Thunderbowl win since 2015. The all-time Thunderbowl sprint-car winner controlled the pace through traffic to claim the Shop Kyle Larson A-Main aboard the familiar Williams Motorsports No. 0.
