Rico Abreu Announces 2026 TSR Move, Then Scores Lawrenceburg Thriller for 10th Win of 2025

Wednesday was a whirlwind for Rico Abreu. First came confirmation that he’ll join Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing to drive the TSR #24 in 2026 under High Limit’s new Franchise system. Only hours later, Abreu delivered on track, outdueling Aaron Reutzel and Daison Pursley in a spectacular finish at Lawrenceburg Speedway. His margin at the stripe — 0.026 seconds — marked the second-closest in High Limit history, and gave him his first-ever Sprint Car victory at the Indiana oval. Abreu now owns 10 wins this season and 22 overall, strengthening his grip on the series championship with nine races to go.

43rd 4-Crown Nationals at Eldora: Sprint Cars Headline Chase for 4-Crown Glory

The 43rd edition of Eldora Speedway’s 4-Crown Nationals begins tonight in Rossburg, OH. Over three nights, USAC National Sprint Cars, Kubota High Limit Racing, and the GLSS 360s will battle for prestige at “The Big E.” Thursday opens with USAC Sprint Cars and Midgets, followed by High Limit and GLSS on Friday, and $15,000-to-win finales for both USAC and High Limit Sprints on Saturday. Hockett/McMillin Memorial Kicks Off at Lucas Oil Speedway

Three nights of action open tonight in Wheatland, MO, with the annual Jesse Hockett/Daniel McMillin Memorial.
