Gobrecht Classic Weekend — Rahmer at Grove, Dietrich at BAPS
Freddie Rahmer broke through for his first Williams Grove victory of 2025 on Friday night, taking the Kevin Gobrecht Classic Challenge in a 25-lap thriller. Rahmer edged Lance Dewease by just .250 seconds at the line, with Daryn Pittman completing the podium. In the 358 Sprint Car feature, Dylan Norris stormed from 12th to the front, passing Andy Best late to record his fourth Grove win of the year.
On Saturday, Danny Dietrich kept his streak alive at BAPS Motor Speedway, dominating the York Excavating Kevin Gobrecht Classic for the second straight year. The Gettysburg driver led all 30 laps of the $10,000-to-win main event, finishing nearly six seconds clear of Brock Zearfoss and Rahmer. The win marked Dietrich’s 25th career triumph at BAPS, leaving him only two shy of Lynn Paxton on the track’s all-time list. Kenny Edkin claimed the Super Sportsman feature, holding off Scott Dellinger and Jay Fannasy.

With New Mexico and California in the rear-view, many of the Outlaws regulars will be chasing momentum into the heart of their fall push.
High Limit Racing takes a rare Friday off before tackling a two-night stretch in the Northeast. Both events are expected to draw heavyweights from across the Mid-Atlantic.
Fresh off 4-Crown at Eldora, the USAC National Sprint Cars will stay in Indiana for the Fall Brawl at Paragon on Friday before a much-anticipated visit to Michigan’s Butler Motor Speedway on Saturday.
Elsewhere, several tours and tracks reach key points in their seasons. The BOSS Sprints roll into Lawrenceburg Speedway for the Dick Gaines Memorial, serving as the penultimate round before their championship finale. The IRA Sprint Cars will crown their titlist in the Wisconsin Sprint Car Championships at Plymouth Dirt Track. The ASCS Frontier Region also closes the books with a Friday–Saturday double at Sheridan Speedway in Wyoming. On the West Coast, Silver Dollar Speedway close out their 2025 season with the two-night Fall Nationals for winged 360's, while Skagit’s 360 Sprint Cars help headline the $10,000 to win Survive the 55 IMCA Modified Crown Jewel. In Australia, Toowoomba’s Hi-Tec Oils Speedway officially open their sprint car season with winged 410's headlining Thunder on the Downs over two big nights on Friday and Saturday.
Saturday will also carry special meaning in Pennsylvania. Lincoln Speedway’s program is dedicated to honoring fallen first responders, with the Fallen Heroes Race presented by Select Collision Group. The night will remember Detective Sergeant Cody Becker, Detective Mark Baker, Detective Isaiah Emenheiser, and pay tribute to injured deputies Lt. David Godfrey and a second officer. Drivers will walk the stands with their helmets to collect donations, and proceeds from the 50/50 raffle will also support the families. It promises to be an emotional evening paired with a full slate of racing action.
