Rain Ends Avalon Season Opener Early

The 2025–26 Avalon Raceway season opened under promising conditions with strong car counts and early-season energy. Heat racing for the Wingless Sprints featured close finishes and improving lap times throughout the night, but as the evening progressed, weather intervened. Following steady showers and multiple attempts by track crews to restore the surface, officials called the night after the completion of the Wingless B-Main.

Avalon Raceway management later thanked fans and teams for their support and patience, announcing a $5 discount for spectators presenting their October 11 ticket at the next event on Saturday, October 25, headlined by the Sprintcar Jackpot and Wingless Invitational.
