Round 2 of the QSS Ultimate Sprintcar Championship (USC QLD) unfolded at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedwayunder the banner “Men’s Mental Health Night – A Race for Awareness.”
The event carried powerful meaning beyond motorsport — aimed at promoting open conversation, mateship, and awareness surrounding men’s mental health. Despite evening rain and multiple stoppages, the racing proved outstanding, with Queensland’s best Sprintcar talent battling through unpredictable conditions before Lachlan McHugh captured a hard-fought second straight USC victory.
Fans and teams rallied together for a cause greater than racing, turning this new fixture into one of the most memorable events on Toowoomba’s annual calendar.
